Zealand Festival
I volunteered for my school’s student council and together
with students from other schools, we created Zealand Festival.
The beginning of a tradition
Zealand Festival is a small one-day festival for all students of Zealand Academy. The event is dedicated to gathering young people from around Zealand to one place where they can mingle and socialize with each other.
The party was its first of its kind and was created with the intention of being a traditional event held once every year in May.
In its first year in 2022, we had great success with more than 400 participants, and more importantly, people actually told us they loved the event so much that Zealand Festival 2023 was almost immediately planned after.
My role in this project was hard to define, as I and a lot of other people had to do and be everything at once. In the inner circle, there were around 6-7 people, all of us being some sort of project manager but also doing a lot of manual labor before, during, and after the festival.

The festival needed to get promoted, so i took on the lead as a SoMe manager for our festival Instagram following our school’s brand manual. (I am currently not in control of this account)
Zealand Festival 2024
Zealand Festival 2023 was also a big success and it will continue in the next years, but without my help as I am no longer a student at Zealand
Fanebærerprisen 2023
After i graduated from Zealand I received the “Fanebærerpris” which is given out to students who are particularly diligent and have created a good sense of community among the students.
